Very good condition with a few nicks around the edges

This tall and slim ceramic tile plaque was made in West Germany by Ruscha in the 1960-70's

Made in the 1920's its carved Gothic design is colored in an array of rich waxy matte glazes that even cover the side edges

Framed Tile of a Sailboat at the Shoreline Elio Schiavon Large Grueby geometric tile moldedThis pretty antique tile was made around 1910 in England. It depicts a sailboat near the shoreline and is covered in a pale aqua glaze. Made in the intaglio process the image is pressed into the tile and while in kiln the glaze pools into the recesses giving the image depth. The tile measures 6" square. Framed it measures 7 3 4" square. The tile is unmarked. There is some roughness around the edges, hidden by the frame.
