The perfect curiosity to liven up a dull corner. These tiles are salvaged from old buildings being torn down in the name of progress. There were strict rules during the Ming & Qing dynasties about who could use what colour of roof tiles. Green tiles were reserved for wealthy mansions of princes, religious buildings, and city gates. The most iconic example is
