Painted Altar Cabinet from Tibet - 19thC Clothes All our mirrors are madeThis piece is an excellent example of a Chagam, dating from the 19th century. It's a genuine example of a well used altar cabinet that retains it's true age and patina. A perfect piece for a collector of Tibetan furniture and art and rare to find these days. It's decorated in the traditional Tibetan earth pigments which explain the wonderful depth of the colours. The doors are decorated with a beautiful circular floral motif. The bottom panel is
